Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and transform design, deployment, product configuration, and materials requirements into BOMs and configuration to order formulas/rulesets.
- Implement and test these in automated ordering tools and business orders and develop user documentation.
- Identify and create requests for new software features needed from in-house ordering tools to support NPI projects.
- Work with partners to execute workflows and convert rack designs into models of components, rack assembly and top level BOMs, and rack elevations with device interconnect wiring and routing.
- Work with cross-functional teams to create rack assembly manufacturing instructions and with rack integrators for design reviews and to collect and implement design for excellence feedback.
- Develop roadmaps, establish project goals, coordinate resources, and provide technical leadership while improving overall team efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in program or project management.
- Experience with the full new product development phase including forecasting, production ramp, spares support, end-of-life, and decomissioning.
- Experience with hardware New Product Introduction (NPI) at an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), working with design engineering and supply chain or manufacturing.
